Crossroads Teen Centre - Empangeni

Zama Mthethwa Grade 10

Meet Your Mentor program allows teens to experience their chosen career first hand and to gain some work experience and insight into the business world. This would hopefully reinstate their confidence in their chosen career or guide them in the different direction.

Another teen met her mentor at 5ways pharmacy Empangeni.

"Every great achiever is inspired by a great mentor."

Zama Mthethwa (right) met her mentor Sanrisha Ramsamy (left). We are loving these times Teens are inspired, encouraged and mentored.

What You Need To Know.

At the end of 2015, Crossroads had 128 registered teenagers and did over 150 interventions. Currently in 2016, Crossroads has over 200 registered teenagers and have already done over 200 interventions of which most consist of tutorial sessions and other educational and developmental programmes.

Due to the big increase, we were forced to expand our Computer Room in January & reach out for more tutors to help with study work. We are excited about the growth and thankful to all those who makes our work possible.

So far, we have been reaching out to teenagers by doing educational programmes such as tutorials and computer lessons. We have been doing plenty of Bible Studies where we have seen teens come to salvation & we have focused greatly on the Grade 12 students with regard to Career Guidance. With most of our programmes, we have reached out to our community who either donate funds, material, or their time and skills. Our teenagers benefit from these programmes a great deal.

If you would like more details, please feel free to contact us or check out our Newsletter. We are currently working on a Blog where we can post more personal stories about our teens as well as a Programmes tab on our Website so that you can see online a summary of each program we offer and ins and outs of the Centre.

Thanks & God Bless
